Dave was born on December 3rd, 1971 just outside of Cleveland Ohio.  At the age of 11, he and
his family moved to Daytona Beach area in Florida.  From the time he was five, Dave has ridden
motorcycles, and by the age of 14, he started racing local moto-x and dirt tracks.  By the age of
19, he started his road racing career.

In his first year of road racing, Dave won nine regional championships in the Southeastern and
Florida series.  Turning expert the next year, he won eight regionals, and three national
championships, and in his second AMA 600 Supersport national at Road Atlanta, he placed sixth.
This was noticed by Team Chafong, who gave him his first professional ride competing in the
600 S.S. series for the next year.

Dave's first year went well, finishing in the top ten at seven of the ten rounds that year.  His
best would be a fifth at Brainard, MN, not a bad year for competing at eight new tracks he had
never seen before.

In the next year, Dave won his first AMA National in the Twinsports class aboard a
Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster in Pamona CA.  That drew the attention of Bartels Harley-Davidson
out of Marina Del Ray, CA, who Dave finished this season with, and raced with for the next two
seasons.  During this time, he won three AMA and four NASB nationals, and won the year end
finale making him the 883 World Champion for 96'.  Dave also competed in the new NASB Buell
Lightning Series winning four out of five races this year, becoming the class
champion.  He also rode a Ducati 916 for LDM technologies in the AMA Superbike
nationals, finishing top 15, and first privateer at 5 nationals.

The next year Dave rode for Mitchels Harley-Davidson, finishing second at
every national except for one, resulting in Second in the point standings for the
year.  This would be the final year for the 883's, the class changing to the Pro
Thunder series.  Dave picked up a ride from Motorcycle Online to compete on a
Buell for this year, finishing on the podium at many of the rounds.

Dave didn't race for most of the 2000' season, needing back surgery, but was ready again for
the next year.  In 01'-02', he was hired by Tilley's Harley-Davidson Buell to again compete in the
AMA Pro Thunder series, where he finished on the podium at eight rounds, winning three of them.
In 02' Dave was invited to race in the World Endurance Series for Herman Verbovan Racing out
of Belgium.  Racing at Silversone, Bruno, and Suzuka, the best result of seventh in Bruno.

Dave raced for Innovative Motorcycle Research in the Formula USA Thunderbike series the
next year.  He won four out of seven races, winning the championship.  He would try to defend
his title riding for Harding Harley-Davidson in 04'.  The year started good with a win at Daytona,
but then Dave was hospitalized later that week after he had a bad automobile accident, leaving
him unconscious for three days.  The remainder of the year was difficult, but he managed to win
the last two rounds resulting in second for the points chase.  Dave also raced for Ruthless Racing
in the Canadian Thunder series for one round at Shannonville Motorsports Park resulting in a
class win there.

In 2005, Dave started the season as a privateer with help from Veatch Motorsports and Brian
Bemisderfer with Harding Harley Davidson backing him.  Dave was picked up halfway through the
season by Innovative Motorcycle Research.  It was an up and down season, but we won the
Thunderbike championship again.  In 06' Dave was back to a privateer with Veatch Motorsports
backing him.  Dave won two races this season, but two dnf's at both Daytona rounds cost us the
championship.

For 2007, Dave will be racing for Deeley's Harley Davidson of Canada / Picotte Racing /
Ruthless Racing Inc. in the ASRA series Thunderbike class.  He will also race for J.C. Racing /
R&R Racing on an Aprilia in the Moto-ST series.
